To manage the overwhelming volume of sequence data, computer programming skills are vital in today's molecular biology. This course will begin with the essential basics of programming languages. Subsequently, students will learn to write computer programs effectively for bioinformatics data analysis, including the elucidation of AI-assisted program writing. Programming in various fundamental and widely-used languages, such as Python and R, will be explained in a straightforward manner, covering their application in biological data analysis.
