◉ Purpose:

This contest aims to encourage the students to work on their thesis beforehand and promote the exchange of their studies. The students are expected to combine the academic/daily acquisition with their professional background in practice, which displays their diversity of thought and abilities of summarization and innovation. Every student is welcome to submit the research project.

◉ Content:

※ First-year students:

Should include your research topic and direction, courses you plan to take, research motivation and purpose, range, preliminary literature review, the research methods/methodology, or the reference books/materials. 

※ Second-year students:

In addition to the content stated above in first-year regulation, second-year papers should include your thesis progress or draft, the thesis's abstract, and 5-7 keywords related to your thesis.

◉ Prize:

The scholarship committee will evaluate your proposal. The top three and several outstanding awards will be given scholarships respectively for encouragement.

◉ Instructions:

※ First-year: No more than 3 pages (A4), with font size 12pt and 1.5 line spacing.

     Second-year: At least 3 pages, no more than 6 pages (A4), with font size 12pt and 1.5 line spacing.

※ It is necessary to mark the title (eg. I, II, III…) Please also insert the header to indicate your student ID number and name. 

※ Please indicate the file name as Student ID_Name_proposal and mail the PDF file to the Smart MHI Program email (ntumhi@ntu.edu.tw)

※ The deadline is Dec. 5, 2024

※ The mail subject should be: Smart HMI Proposal Contest _ Student ID_Name
